Welcome to the new Uttoxeter Heart of Oak Morris website!
Since 1955 the Uttoxeter Heart of Oak Morris have kept the tradition of morris dancing alive in East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire, dancing in Uttoxeter itself and in local towns and villages. Most dancing takes place between the months of May and August, but the side can also be seen at markets and other events throughout the year and in Uttoxeter Market Place on Boxing Day. Recently the side has performed a traditional mummers play on Boxing Day.
Uttoxeter Morris belong to The Morris Ring of Great Britain, an umbrella organisation of some 150 morris sides.
